International Nail Technicians Association (INTA)

The International Nail Technicians Association (INTA) was set up to acknowledge the growing industry of nail care professionals in need of an association to develop unitized guidelines and directives for the proper treatment of nails and the conduct of what is deemed professional in the industry.

In June 2001, INTA was absorbed into Cosmetologist Chicago which is an associated organization providing similar services to beauticians and thus a new direction and purpose was launched for the new organization with the purpose of providing an association “home” to nail care professionals, dedicated to the needs of technicians and the industry.
